Benzocaine

Benzocaine used further in formulations which are used mainly in solution / gel application for temporarily relieve pain in the mouth, throat or nose, and parts of the digestive tract. Benzocaine used in Parenteral application as local anaesthetics. Benzocaine reversibly stabilizes the neuronal membrane with decreases its permeability to sodium ions. Depolarization of the neuronal membrane is inhibited thereby blocking the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses.
